I just finished my finals last Tuesday on the 12th of May! So I RSVP to attend this press screening for the movie 'Tomorrowland' on the 14th of May, which was last Thursday. Meaning I get to watch the movie one week before everybody MUAHAHAHAHA Stop reading this blogpost because this is a spoiler!! (JUST KIDDING I AM NOT THAT EVIL) :P
Being able to witness the beautiful Eiffel Tower with my own eyes has been my life goal since forever. Paris is one of the most beautiful places ever. Paris is well known for being a romantic city as it is one of the hottest destinations for couples visit on their honeymoon vacation. Paris is the global centre for fashion, art, culture and gastronomy! Which is the reason why visiting Paris is one of my life goals. Branded stuffs such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Doir, Balenciaga, Hermes, Givenchy and etc, are really MUCH cheaper in Paris! [FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HANDBAGS YOU GOTTA SNATCH THEM ALL WHEN YOU'RE HERE OK!!]
As much as I love the beautiful sceneries, builidings, and the country, the thing that upsets me is the people there. Most of them are not very friendly and are reluctant to speak English to you. They are more.. cold? But oh wells, we just gotta accept how some things are because nothing can ever change that. I have been back at KL for more than 2 weeks but I still can't get over how amazing and fun my trip was. Currently facing a major post UK-PARIS trip depression. Huhuhu. :( (feeling emotional to even blog about this hehe kidding!) This is my first time ever stepping into Europe!! University life has been pretty stressful and the only reason that kept me enlivened was this trip! One of the things on my bucket list is finally done.
Since I started being into film photography (thanks to my lovely K) , I was looking forward even more to this trip so I can use both of my film cameras, Yashica Electro 35 & the Olympus Mju III. This was by first time ever using my Yashica Electro 35!! I always believe in not being TOO excited or something because something bad will come in the way.... and I was right. On the first day when I arrived at Paris, I rolled the film wrongly and I couldn't use the Yashica Electro 35 anymore. Managed to finish up the first roll thats it. I WAS SO UPSET OKAY UGH BUT WHATEVER LIFE GOES ON. So I only got to use my Olympus Mju III and the DSLR I have always been using, Canon 600D. Hence, in this blogpost I won't be sharing just about my experience and trip there, I will be sharing with you my photos from the film camera and also the DSLR! Hope you enjoy reading it! :) |
